SPRAYER CALIBRATION
1.
Attach Supply Hose to Anti-siphon device and
fill the Tank half full with clean clear water.

FIG. 6
3
. Drive the Vehicle in the desired Shift Range
and at the target operating speed with the Pump
and all Boom Sections on. Use the Pressure
Control Valve to obtain the desired application rate
on the Spray Pro. When the desired rate is
obtained, verify that the spray pressure is within
the operating range for the nozzle being used.
Continue with boom bypass valve adjustment if
never performed or nozzles have been changed.
2.
Follow the nozzle selection method on page
50 to select the proper nozzle for the desired
application rate, operating pressure and target
speed.
CAUTION
In order to avoid potential for an
accident or injury, choose a wide open
area without obstructions to perform the
following mobile spray calibration
process.
IMPORTANT: INSPECT AND CLEAN ALL
SYSTEM COMPONENTS BEFORE SPRAYING,
INCLUDING THE TANK, STRAINER, PUMP,
BOOM, PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE, AND
NOZZLES, IN YOUR INSPECTION
4.
While continuing to drive the vehicle and
spraying with the monitor in the APPLICATION
RATE position (see FIG 6), turn 1 of the 3 boom
sections off with Individual Boom Valves and
adjust Boom Bypass Valve, if required, to maintain
the application rate from step 3 above. Boom
Bypass Valves are located directly behind the
Individual Boom Valves.
5.
Repeat Step 1 for remaining 2 boom sections
(this allows accurate application rate when
Individual Boom Sections are turned off).
