The patch points available for selection in this menu are identical to those described
earlier in the “Monitor Outputs” section of the manual. The only exceptions are the
addition of the “Client Mic Input” and the addition of the monitor outputs
themselves. The “Monitor Out” menu has patch points for the headphone, speaker,
and aux monitoring paths. Each monitoring path provides three selections to feed
client audio…input source, pre-calibration (xo), and post-calibration (output).
Controls are also provided for loading and saving client audio output monitor
calibration settings.
Client Mic Input
The Client Microphone Input Menu allows you to pick which microphone you’d like
to use, a parametric equalizer to create custom EQ curves for individual mics, and
the ability to save and recall custom mic presets.
Input Device
Allows selection of the device or input that will feed the NfRemote client when
performing monitor calibration. Click “Refresh List” to update the list of devices.
Load/Save Preset
These menus allow you to save custom calibration profiles for measurement
microphones and function identically to the Load/Save menus described elsewhere
in this manual.
Main
These controls bypass the microphone calibration EQ and adjust gain when
bypassed or engaged.
EQ
A 12-band parametric EQ is provided for the client microphone input. This can be
used to compensate for the response curve of the measurement microphone and
functions identically to the EQ section described in the “Monitor Outputs” menu.
