HTTP Access
In addition to access via NfRemote, the 9sg has an extensive http remote control
interface built in. It is not necessary to configure these settings if you do not plan to
use the http interface. This menu ONLY controls access via the remote http interface
and does NOT restrict access via NfRemote.
This interface allows access to nearly every single parameter available through
NfRemote, and is useful for monitoring and control by automation or other external
systems. The NfRemote client software can also be downloaded via this interface.
This interface can only be accessed by systems and networks specified in the “HTTP
Access” menu. Up to 8 individual hosts or networks can be allowed access in the
format of IP address, IP address and network mask, or IP address with wildcard (i.e.
192.168.200.20, 192.168.200.20/255.255.255.0, or 192.168.200.*). There is no
username or password challenge on the http interface, so ensure that only the hosts
and networks that need access are listed here.
Software Update
The “Software Update” menu displays the current 9sg software (and NfRemote
client) version as well as the versions associated with several internal 9sg
components.
Click “Upload Software” to upload a new version to 9sg, or click “Reinstall x.x.x” to
reinstall the currently loaded software version on 9sg. This would normally only be
done for troubleshooting purposes.
