Display Settings Menu
Like the “TCP Link Status” menu, the “Display Settings Menu” appears in multiple
locations throughout the UI but will be described in detail only once.
The display windows for Omnia.9sg within NfRemote are highly configurable and
can be customized to show a wealth of information from the so-called “Omnia
Toolbox” including input level meters, output LKFS loudness levels, modulation
figures, and information from various patchpoints from within the signal path as
represented on a digital oscilloscope, FFT, or RTA.
A row of six “Display Preset” buttons is located at the top right corner of the
NfRemote display, outlined here in red. Each display preset can show up to eight
display windows, outlined here in green. The number of simultaneous displays used
in each preset will depend primarily upon monitor size as adding displays reduces
the size of each individual window and will, on smaller monitors, quickly make them
less readable and useful.
Note that the proportional size of the upper, middle, and lower sections of the
screen can be adjusted by clicking and dragging the two resize bars (outlined in
orange). This allows more or less space to be devoted to the displays, menus, and
controls as needed.
Clicking on the “Display Settings” button from within any menu that offers it will
immediately bring up the display settings controls as will clicking on any of the
displays themselves at any time. The active window will feature a yellow box
around it and its control will be highlighted in the control portion of the screen.
