1. Locate the two TTL
cables in the Dionex RFC
Ship Kit (see Figure 60).
2. Connect one end of the
red-and-black TTL cable
to the
Pump
TTL input on
the Dionex RFC rear
panel (see Figure 61).
3.
Connect one end of
the yellow-and-black TTL
cable to the
Gradient
TTL

NOTE TTL cables are color coded for easier identification, but
are identical in all other respects.
4. Verify that the
TTL Control
button position (out) is
selected.

NOTE The TTL Control button position (out) must be selected,
in order for the pump to use TTL-2 out to enable and
disable the Dionex RFC.
5. Route the TTL cable(s) from the Dionex RFC rear panel to the pump
or combination pump/detector electronics chassis.
6. Connect the red-and-black cable to
TTL-2 OUT
. Refer to the label
inside the door of the electronics chassis and to Figure 59 for the
location of
TTL-2 OUT
.
7.
Connect the yellow-and-black cable to
TTL-1 OUT
(or to any
available TTL or Relay output)(see Figure 59).
8. Go on to Section B.4, “Power Connection.”
