WRN: ION PERCENT LOW [142]
This warning occurs when the percentage of ions left in the EGC falls
below 10%. The warning is repeated at each 1% decrease in count.
To troubleshoot:
This warning informs you when it is time to replace a cartridge that is
nearing depletion. In order for the Dionex RFC to determine when the
ion percentage is low, you must set the percentage to 100 when a new
cartridge is installed. See “Monitoring Eluent Generator Cartridge
Use (Dionex RFC-30 Only)” on page 36 for details.

ERR: EGC 1 INVALID CONCENTRATION [143]
This error occurs if the concentration is outside of the absolute range
allowed by the Dionex RFC (0.10 to 100.00 mM). This may indicate
corrupted memory or a problem in the Moduleware (the instrument
control firmware installed in the Dionex RFC).
To troubleshoot:
•
Call Thermo Fisher Scientific for assistance. The Dionex RFC
electronics components and Moduleware cannot be serviced by
the user.
•
ERR: EGC 1 INVALID FLOW RATE [144]
This error occurs when the flow rate is outside of the absolute range
allowed by the Dionex RFC (0.01 to 3.00 mL/min). This may indicate
corrupted memory or a problem in the Moduleware (the instrument
control firmware installed in the Dionex RFC).
To troubleshoot:
•
Call Thermo Fisher Scientific for assistance. The Dionex RFC
electronics components and Moduleware cannot be serviced by
the user.
•
ERR: EGC 1 INVALID FLOW RATE VS.
CONCENTRATION [145]
This error occurs if the flow rate is greater than 1.0 mL/min
and
the
product of the flow rate times the concentration is greater than 100.
