Dionex Reagent-Free Controller

5. Locate the EGC vent line tubing, label, tubing clips, and barbed luer

lock, supplied with the holder. Locate the luer adapter and cap,
supplied with the EGC. Slide the label onto one end of the tubing and
then push the barbed luer lock onto the tubing.

6. Remove the plug from the vent opening and wipe off any liquid from

the EGC.

7. Screw the luer adapter onto the vent opening. Remove the cap on the

luer adapter by twisting.

Save the cap.

NOTE To prevent leaks from the EGC, always replace the

luer adapter cap before moving the EGC.

8. Twist the luer lock and EGC vent line into the luer adapter (see

Figure 99).
