3. Grasp the bottom of the PTFE

tubing and the tubing clamp, and then carefully

pull upward until they slide off the top end of the stainless tubing.

4. Disengage the plunger clamp, and then move the plunger up and out of the

cartridge.

5. Unscrew the plunger assembly (see

Figure 5-8

) and pull it down to remove it

from the cartridge holder.

6. Set the plunger assembly aside.

7. Repeat

for each cartridge holder you need to convert.

Install the New Plunger Assembly

Follow these steps to install the new plunger assembly for each cartridge holder to
be converted.

1. Screw the new plunger assembly into position on the cartridge holder.

2. Engage the plunger clamp.
