You can use the QuantStudio

™

3D Digital PCR Instrument touchscreen to view and

export a log that summarizes the past 6 months of instrument activity. For each
event, the log provides a description of the activity and the date/time when it
occurred.

Note:

The information conveyed in the instrument log is used primarily by technical

support as a resource for troubleshooting instrument errors. If the QuantStudio

™

3D

Digital PCR Instrument encounters an error during operation, the log is written to the
experiment (.eds) file, which can be exported and sent to technical support (see
“Customer and technical support” on page 123). If the instrument does not generate
a file, then you can export the instrument log for distribution as explained below.
