A 24 VDC power supply is needed to power the logic assemblies and the function modules. One
power “T” cable is prewired to each power supply. Power supplies are available in 120 VAC or 480
VAC input versions.

CRUZcontrol operates from a Class 2 power supply voltage of 24 VDC. This limits the total number of
CRUZcontrol Logic Assemblies that can be connected to one power supply. There is also a limit on
the maximum number of Logic Assemblies that can be in one continuous string, based on the cable
length and power requirement of Logic Assemblies. More than one string of Logic Assemblies can be
connected to a power supply, as long as the power supply output rating isn’t exceeded.
The Function Modules require 10mA of current at 24 VDC. This needs to be considered, as it will
reduce the total number of Logic Modules that can be connected to one Class 2 power supply to a
quantity less than stated in Table 8.
