TROUBLE SHOOTING
PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
No power.
Key switch is off.
Turn on key.
Faulty key switch.
Call for service.
Faulty power cord or pigtail.
Replace or call for service.
Circuit breaker tripped in building.
Reset circuit breaker.
Vacuum motor will not operate.
Vacuum thermal overload tripped.
Check air flow for obsutructions,
wait 20 minutes for motor to cool.
Faulty vacuum switch.
Call for service.
Loose wiring.
Call for service.
Faulty vacuum motor.
Call for service.
Poor vacuum recovery.
Debris is lodged in vacuum pickup
head.
Remove debris from vacuum pickup
head (use a coat hanger).
Lint buildup on shut-off float screen.
Remove lint buildup from shut-off float
screen inside recovery tank.
Vacuum hose disconnected from
vacuum pickup head.
Connect hose or call for service.
Loose or damaged recovery dome or
vacuum hose.
Tighten or replace hose.
Drain hose plug is off or not fully
inserted into drain hose.
Insert drain hose plug and tighten.
Recovery tank is full.
Drain recovery tank.
Uneven or no spray.
Faulty Deep clean/Light clean switch.
Call for service.
Solution filter clogged.
Drain solution tank and clean solution
filter.
Spray tips clogged.
Replace spray bar with spare; clean
clogged spray bar with an acetic acid
solution.
Faulty solution pump.
Call for service.
Pump switch off.
Turn on pump switch.
Faulty solenoid.
Call for service.
Control grips not rotated.
Control grips must be rotated to
activate spray.
Bottle hoses not submerged in
solution.
Submerge bottle hoses in solution.
Faulty solution bottle injector.

Brush does not spin.
Brush circuit breaker tripped.
Remove clogged debris or readjust
brush height and reset breaker.
Faulty brush switch.
