DAILY MAINTENANCE
(Every 4 hours of operation)
Use following maintenance procedures as a daily
check list. See later pages for more detailed
instructions.
1.
Drain and rinse tanks thoroughly. Use gallon
marker tube to drain leftover water in clean water
tank.
2.
Flush bottle feed solution hoses with clean water.
3.
Remove any lint buildup from shut–off float screen.
Screen is located in recovery tank (Figure 34).

4.
Rinse ”LIGHT CLEAN” Mode system. (See WHILE
OPERATING MACHINE)
5.
Remove any obstruction (carpet strands, etc...)
from brush.
6.
Remove any debris lodged inside vacuum pickup
head.
7.
Inspect the cord grip and power cord for damage.
Replace immediately if damaged.
WARNING: Do Not Operate With Damaged
Power Cord. Do Not Modify Plug. Unplug Power
Cord Before Servicing Machine.
If the supply cord is damaged or broken, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or it’s service agent
or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a
hazard.
8.
Refill solution bottles.
9.
Clean machine housing with a nonabrasive,
non–solvent cleaner.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 20 hours of operation)
Use following maintenance procedures as a weekly
check list. See later pages for more detailed
instructions.
1.
Inspect spray tips for proper spray pattern:
a. Engage the reverse release lever to keep
machine stationary (Figure 35).

b. Lower brush/pickup head and remove
detachable spray bar from brush base. Do not
disconnect bar from quick coupler (Figure 36).
Raise brush after removing spray bar.
c. Turn the main power and pump switches on.
d. Holding the spray bar off the floor, briefly rotate
control grips and observe spray pattern. Pattern
should fan out evenly across the width of the spray
bar (Figure 36).

e. Clean or replace defective twist–out spray tips
if necessary (See MONTHLY MAINTENANCE).
2.
Tighten hose cuffs and inspect hose for damage.
MONTHLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 80 hours of operation)
Use following maintenance procedures as a monthly
check list. See later pages for more detailed
instructions.
1.
Remove and rinse clean water filter located under
machine at front. Make sure solution tank is empty.
2.
Flush plumbing system with acetic acid solution
(P/N 23901/2). See PLUMBING SYSTEM
MAINTENANCE.
