To begin cleaning, lower brush by depressing
thumb lever on brush lift lever (Figure 20).

10. Disengage reverse release lever (Figure 21).

11. Press the two Light/Deep Clean switches to
”DEEP CLEAN” (Red Area) (Figure 22).

NOTE: Cleaning mode lamp will not light until twist
grips are activated.
11. Press Clean/Rinse switch to ”CLEAN” (Green
Area).
12 Turn on ”PUMP” switch.
13. Turn on ”VACUUM” switch.
14. Turn twist grips completely forward to begin
cleaning.
CAUTION: Do not allow foam to enter shut–off
float. Foam will damage vacuum motor and this
damage is not covered by warranty.
15. If foam buildup begins to develop, simply press the
foam control button at rear of machine. This will
inject a foam control solution into recovery tank
and eliminate foam buildup (Figure 23).

16. After cleaning carpet, allow 3 to 4 hours for carpet
to dry. Use air movers to reduce dry time.
WHILE OPERATING MACHINE
WARNING: Do Not Pick Up Flammable
Materials Or Reactive Metals.
1. Keep machine within 6–8” of baseboard.
2.
Use a collapsing rectangle pattern.
3. When turning, it may be necessary to turn pump
switch off and raise brush lift lever.
4. Overlap each pass by about 2 inches.
5. Before reaching end of cleaning path, turn ”PUMP”
switch off and continue to drive machine forward to
extract solution.
6. If cleaning in ”LIGHT CLEAN” mode. On last pass
of cleaning, press Clean/Rinse switch to ”RINSE”
and continue to run machine about 100 feet. This
will rinse cleaning solution out of spray tips and
prevent alkaline buildup in plumbing system.
7.
Periodically check recovery tank level.
8.
Drain recovery tank every time solution tank runs
dry. See DRAINING & RINSING TANKS.
