Remove spray bars and clean spray tips. Replace
spray bar with spare if necessary.
4.
Check drive belt for wear or excess slack.
5.
Inspect machine for leaks.
6.
Inspect machine for loose screws.
7.
Lubricate casters with a water resistant grease.
EVERY 250 HOURS OF OPERATION
Inspect motors for carbon brush wear. Replace
brushes when worn to a length of 10 mm (0.38 in) or
less. Contact an Authorized Service Center for carbon
brush inspection.
FOR SAFETY: When servicing machine, all repairs
must be performed by a qualified service person.
DRIVE BELT MAINTENANCE
FOR SAFETY: Before servicing machine, stop on
level surface, turn off machine, unplug cord from
wall outlet and remove key.
Check tension of drive belt periodically. The drive belt
must be properly adjusted to eliminate any slippage.
This provides best performance and minimizes belt
wear.
NOTE: Belt may slip if wet.
To Tighten Or Replace Drive Belt:
1.
Carefully lay machine on its left side.
2.
Loosen (4) bolts on drive motor (Figure 37).

Loosen locknut on belt tension bolt.
4.
Turn belt tension bolt clockwise to tighten belt. For
proper adjustment, belt should represent diagram
above. DO NOT over tighten.
5.
Retighten locknut on belt tension bolt.
PLUMBING SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
Each month flush out plumbing system with acetic
acid solution (P/N 23901/2). This will prevent plumbing
system from clogging and reduce the risk of pump
failure. Also check plumbing system for any leaks,
repair if necessary. Solution pump does not require
lubrication.
To Remove Alkaline Buildup:
1.
Pour 48 oz. (1.42L) of acetic acid solution (P/N
23901/2) with 6 gallons (22.6 L) of hot water
140« F (60« C) into clean water tank.
FOR SAFETY: When using machine, follow mixing
and handling instructions on chemical containers.
2.
Push machine over a floor drain.
3.
Pull reverse release lever backwards to prevent
machine from moving when turning twist grips.
4.
Press Clean/Rinse switch to ”CLEAN”.
5.
Press the two Light/Deep Clean switches to
”LIGHT CLEAN” (Blue Area).
6.
Turn on ”PUMP” switch.
7.
Turn twist grips completely forward and hold for 1
to 2 minutes.
8.
Press the two Light/Deep Clean switches to
”DEEP CLEAN” (Red Area).
9.
Turn twist grips completely forward and hold for
another 1 to 2 minutes.
10. Press the two Light/Deep Clean switches again to
”LIGHT CLEAN”.
11. Remove spray wand from holder and squeeze
trigger for 1 to 2 minutes also.
12. Acetic acid solution is now completely cycled in
plumbing system, leave machine sit for a few
hours to allow acetic acid solution to breakdown
buildup.
13. Later, operate each cleaning mode to disperse
remaining acetic acid solution.
14. Then fill clean water tank with 3 gallons (11.3 L) of
clean water and operate all cleaning modes for 1
to 2 minutes each to flush out excess acetic acid
solution.
