Press the Clean/Rinse switch to ”CLEAN” (Green
Area) (Figure 16).

Turn on ”PUMP” switch.

Turn on ”VACUUM” switch.
8. Turn twist grips completely forward to begin
cleaning.
9.
After last pass of cleaning, press Clean/Rinse
switch to ”RINSE” (White Area) and continue to
run machine about 100 feet. This will rinse
cleaning solution out of spray tips and prevent
alkaline buildup in plumbing system.
10. After cleaning carpet, allow approximately 30
minutes for carpet to dry. Use air movers to reduce
dry time.
DEEP CLEANING
The DEEP CLEAN mode is designed to restore
heavily soiled carpet. This mode requires prespraying
carpet, using built–in prespray wand, before operating
machine. The cleaning speed is preset at 50 feet per
minute. This mode does not inject cleaning solution,
only clean water at a flow rate of 1 gallon per minute .
Follow operating instructions below:
1. Connect prespray wand to 2–25’ solution hoses
and connect solution hose to quick coupler located
at rear of machine (Figure 17).

Turn key on.

Press the two Light/Deep Clean switches to
”LIGHT CLEAN” for prespray mode (Blue Area)
(Figure 18).

NOTE: Cleaning mode lamp will not light in the
prespray mode, this is normal.
4. Turn
on
”PUMP” switch.
5.
Take prespray wand and walk away from machine
as far as the hose will allow.
6. Begin prespraying, hold wand about one foot
above carpet. Use a sweeping pattern when
applying prespray solution (Figure 19).

7. Return prespray wand to holder.
8.
Allow prespray solution to set for at least 5
minutes and no longer than 15 minutes before
operating machine.
