In the following example of a PBX connection,
all international calls are terminated to VoIP

calls are routed through the carrier with the

. All other calls are sent to the
PSTN unchanged. All calls from the PSTN or
from a VoIP carrier are sent directly to the NT
controller, to which the PBX is attached.
