The following configuration activates a feature whereby the system sends an SMS message to announce a caller’s
OAD before the actual call is being put through. The SMS message contains a configurable text and the caller’s
OAD so that the mobile user knows who is going to call him through the ECOTEL’s interface.
Make the following configuration in the
pabx.cfg’s [System]
section:
SMSCLI=<“message content”>
You must enter the text that is to be sent in quotation marks. The OAD will be attached to this text message.
In the
route.cfg
, adjust your mapping entries to contain the
SMSCLI
parameter:
MapAll<direct>=<num> SMSCLI
Do not forget that the SMS center number must be defined (refer to Table 5.16 on page 5-64 for an explanation)
and that the following entry must appear in the
route.cfg
for transmission to be possible:
MapAllSMS=<port>
map all SMS messages to a port or
MapAllSMS=<LAIN>
map all SMS messages to a LAIN
The mapping to a LAIN requires that
CHADDR
is added to the
pabx.cfg
’s
Subscriber
line, to change the
controller definition to the SIM card’s LAIN.
Example: In the following example, an SMS message is sent to the number 01551234567 through the
LAIN 26212 to announce a call to this number. Digit collection is activated.
