CSA8000B & TDS8000B User Manual

NOTE

. At some temperatures, there may be extraneous data points after the first

half cycle when viewing the front-panel Internal Clock output (as is done in this
step). This behavior may also occur when viewing multiple cycles in TDR mode.
In both cases, this behavior is normal.

Rotating the Horizontal

SCALE

knob clockwise expands the waveform

on-screen (more horizontal divisions per waveform period), counter-
clockwise rotation contracts it, and returning the horizontal scale to

1

s/div

returns the period to about five divisions.

Leave the time base

set to 1

s/div.

The horizontal

POSITION

knob positions the signal left and right

on-screen when rotated.

NOTE

. The signal will not move past the minimum position setting.
