B.3 BACKUP/RESTORE OF THE CONFIGURATION OF

THE WIRELESS SECTION

The procedure of backup of the configuration of the wireless devices permits saving of
all the data regarding the wireless devices associated in a separate place and recover
it after firmware upgrade or the replacement of the CPU board avoiding to repeat the
long and laborious procedure of learning of the wireless devices.
Procede as follows:

z

Connect the PC to the control panel using one of the programming interfaces
PROG32 or PROG USB.

z

Launch the programming software and enter the local programming environment.

z

Enter the user archive and select the corresponding system from the user list.

On the screen is viewed:

z

Click on the opposite icon on the menu bar.

On the screen is viewed:

BACKUP

z

Click on the

Receive (Backup)

 button

The backup procedure is started.

WARNING

The backup is heartily recommended before every firmware upgrade or if you have to replace the
CPU board in order to avoid losing data regarding the wireless devices.
