4.4.2 PROGRAMMING OF THE KEYS
Clicking on Keys , on the screen is viewed:
The key configuration window permits:
z
Programming of the key
z
Association of the functions of the keys
z
Association of the programs
z
Programming of the attributes of the keys
The key configuration window views 12 keys at a time. Scroll
down to view the next keys.
PROGRAMMING OF THE KEY
For every key the following parameters can be programmed:
z
Name or description (max. 16 caracters).
z
Type, i.e. the function that is initiated upon introduction of
the key into the key reader (arming/disarming or by-pass).
KEY-PROGRAM ASSOCIATION
The key will only be enabled to act on (arm/disarm or partset)
the programs associated (1 to 6).
To associate a program to the key click on the corresponding
item. The program number will be shown as a confirmation of
the association.
PROGRAMMING OF THE ATTRIBUTES
To associate the attributes to the key check the relevant item.

By-pass of general alarms
Enables the user for arming of the system even in
presence of a general alarm (i.e. tamper, low battery,
power failure, supervision, trouble modules)
z
Automatic communicator block on disarming
If enabled, upon disarming of the system (by inserting the
key into the key reader) the active telephone channels (and
those queued up) are blocked automatically.
z
Confirmation of disarming (hold-up block)
Enables the hold-up function on the key. In this case,
disarming by this key will have to be confirmed by entering
of a valid user code within a determined period of time
(disarming confirmation delay), otherwise a silent hold-up
alarm will be released.
