STRAW CHOPPER

Loading with an auxiliary vehicle
The straw chopper must be loaded using an ancillary vehicle. The straw
must be placed on the fold-down open tailgate with a loading fork. Closing
the Fold-down tailgate against the moving bottom enables the straw bale to
approach the chopping system.
The chopper must be completely stopped for loading.
The driver of the tractor must avoid at all times the presence
of unauthorized persons in the vicinity of the working area of
the chopper.
The driver of the auxiliary vehicle must ensure that no
objects or people are within range that may hinder or cause
accidents while loading the chopper.
Once the hay bale or wet silage has been loaded, and then fold up the
tailgate to transport the product to the chopping system.
It is likely that the tailgate cannot be completely closed
because of the placing of the load. Do not force the tailgate
closed, as pressure on the chopping system can cause
significant damage to the machine.
The Fold-down tailgate must be completely closed as soon
as the bale of straw is not a threat to the proper functioning
of chopping system, as the rotation of the latter tends to
push the load outwards.
Do not connect the tractor PTO until the bale of straw or silage is
properly placed inside the box.
Rear loading tailgate
This consists of a structure of steel plate into which straw or silo is
manually deposited or it is used like a shovel. This is manually operated
