Page 29
To use the Foot stand proceed as follows:
Chopper hitch
1.
Bring the tractor towards chopper hitch while respecting at all time the
safety recommendations in this manual.
2.
Adjust the height of the chopper drawbar to hitch point of the tractor,
using the crank (M) for mechanical foot stands (see Figure 2.3). If the
chopper is equipped with a hydraulic foot (See Figure 2.4) , position the
lever at the indicated site (AP) and operate to lift the drawbar. To lower
the drawbar loosen the wheel (V)
3.
For hitching use a bolt with a suitable diameter, respecting the safety
recommendations contained in this manual.
4.
Check that hitching has been conducted successfully and crank up the
Foot stand fully with the crank (M)
5.
If the chopper is fitted with a Foot stand support, tighten the wheel (V),
remove the lever and place it in its holder (see figure 2.3). If the
chopper is equipped with a hydraulic foot (See Figure 2.4), loosen the
wheel(V), fold up the foot stand pressing the two latches (F)
Once the chopper has been hitched up raise the Foot stand
as high as possible to avoid hitting any obstacles on the
ground when running.
Parking the chopper

Park the chopper on a flat area away from ditches, canals, furrows, slopes,
culverts, etc.., which could cause the machine to tip it they were to give
way. Lower the Foot stand until it comes into contact with the ground. If the
Foot stand is manual, use the crank (M).
2.
Raise the chopper, using the foot stand, until it is possible to manually free
up the hook removing the corresponding bolt with ease.
3.
If the chopper is fitted with a hydraulic Foot stand, remove the lever (P)
and place it in its holder .
2.4.
STRAW CHOPPER CONTROLS
Monoblock distributor
To run the different services on the machine, this has a hydraulic
monoblock distributor, situated on the front of the chopper. The distributor
drive is performed remotely via a cable control operated by a lever for each of
the services of the chopper. Electrical control is also an option
The aforementioned distributors are driven by a lever and cable control
which has as many control levers as the chopper has services (3 or 4,
depending on the inclusion of the rotary chute). These levers are mounted on
a portable frame.
The chopper is equipped with a plate fastened onto the side of the box,
where the control levers can be left, when not in use or when the chopper is
parked (See figure 2.8).
