1. STRAW CHOPPER DESCRIPTION
1.1.
INTRODUCTION
TATOMA designs its straw choppers thinking of how to facilitate your
daily work, save you time and therefore improve performance and your
farm´s profits.
Our choppers will let you improve the effectiveness of your work.
Our extensive range of products enables us to solve any problem.
For the machine to work properly we recommend that the person
responsible for the mixer be experienced in driving tractors or agricultural
machinery, to facilitate the period of instruction
1.2.
USING THE STRAW CHOPPER
The straw chopper is designed to perform only the following operations:

Loading straw / damp silage to be chopped

Chopping straw / damp silage

Distribution of chopped product (damp straw or silage)

It is strictly prohibited to carry out any operation other than
those specified here. The safety of the driver and the people
nearby the chopper are at risk, as well as the risk of severely
damaging the chopper.
Carrying out operations other than those not specified here
will mean the immediate loss of the guarantee.
The operations previously mentioned must be carried out by
only one person. If other machines are used (loading the
chopper), these activities will be coordinated by the chopper
operator.
When other operations are being carried unauthorised
personnel are strictly forbidden to be within the proximity of
the working area of the chopper.
1.3.
MAIN PARTS OF THE STRAW CHOPPER
The chopping system incorporated in the machines is different for each
model.
In terms of capacity, there are three models, which allow two or three
straw bales to be chopped:
Model 300
Model 600
Depending on the chopping system, there are two types of cutting
turbines, one for cattle use and one for poultry use.
Model E
Model D
Optionally, cutting turbine for cattle use may be replaced by a cutting
roller:
E / M Model
Chopping takes place in a rectangular box with a hinged tailgate.
