3. HANDLING THE STRAW CHOPPER
Before you begin working with the chopper, the personnel in charge of it:
Must be suitably instructed in its use.
Must be informed as to the danger that is involved in its use and the
safety measures incorporated to avoid them and their adequate use.
Must be informed about safety measures that must be adopted for
personal protection and the actions should not be conducted when
handling of the machines.
This machine is the result of a wealth of experience acquired by TATOMA.
Its great efficiency in cutting and mixing the product is just one of its strong
points, together with minimum wear and tear and low maintenance.
The use of the machine by those who are instructed in its use
who respect the standards and indication included in this
manual will prolong the life of the machine and avoid it
breaking down.
In the following sections references are made to the control elements,
instruments and different elements for the machine already described in
sections 1 and 2 of this documents, and that should be revised prior to
reading this section.
The straw chopper user is reminded that the work areas to avoid any
possible accident hazard are as follows:
Tractor cab
Side of the straw chopper beside the control lever support as
long as they remain in their support.
Tub access ladder
Rear part of the straw chopper to the side of the controls of the
loading gate
