CONTROLLER SETUP
5.1
Setting the Time & Date
Select

• Press
Enter
to start editing the time
and date. The current day of the week
starts flashing on the display.
• Use the arrow keys to set the current
week day.
• Press
Enter
to step to the next item.
• Proceed in similar fashion to set the
whole time and date.
5.2
Password
The password function allows identifying two
different user types: user and installer. The in-
staller password is used to restrict the access
to certain functions of the controller.
The password is made up of 4 digits. When a
correct password is entered, the current user is
identified.
Installer Password:
The installer mode gives full access to all
functions of the controller. This password can
be modified as explained below.
User Password:
The user mode gives access to the basic
functions of the controller. The controller
automatically returns to the user mode after
15 minutes of inactivity. User passwords
cannot be modified.

6.2
Feeding Schedule
The feeding schedule is composed of many feed cycles; up to 6 feed cycles can be
each day. Refer to the installation setup chapter to enable the proper number of feed
cycles. The following procedure shows how to define the cycles’ start times and how
to enable/disable the cycles.
The feed cycle selection can automatically be adjusted over time according to the
animal age. Refer to section 6.1.2 for further information on this function. Otherwise,
feed cycles are chosen separately for each drop in use (sec. 6.3).
Only one cycle can operate at a time. If many cycles simultaneously ask for
feed, the controller finishes the ongoing cycle before stepping to the next.
During a cycle, the controller serves the drops following the numerical order.

The following parameters are associ-
ated with the chosen feed cycle and
must be set separately for each cycle
in use.
• Select the feed cycle status
Select the status of the selected feed
cycle (On/Off).
• Start time
Select the time at which the selected
feed cycle is performed every day.
Cycles must be activated in numerical order, starting with feed
cycle #1, followed by cycle #2, etc.
