2.2 Main Features
VERY LARGE LCD DISPLAY
A large LCD screen offers an efficient interface for displaying, monitoring and adjust-
ing the parameters.
FLEXIBLE AUGER OR CLOSED LOOP DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS
The controller gives the choice of using flexible augers or closed loop feeding systems.
SIMULTANEOUS FEED BATCHES’ TRANSPORTATION
Up to 10 different feed types each having a specific drop destination can transit
simultaneously in two feed lines.
AUTOMATIC WEIGHT-BASED FEED DOSAGE
If combined with a hog sorter system, the ECO-II FEEDING controller can automati-
cally adjust the feed dosage based on the actual pigs’ weight.
BLEND CURVES
Up to four blend curves allow modifying the feed ingredients, the dosage and the
feed cycles’ frequency over time to match the animals’ requirements.
96 ELECTRIC DROPS
Up to 96 electric drops each serving one or several feeders.
ANIMAL INVENTORY
This function allows keeping track of the number of animals that are served by each
drop.
BIN MONITORING
The user can see the amount of feed remaining in each bin.
SIX CLOCK OUTPUTS
The controller has six timers for controlling various devices using the real-time clock.
MEMORY CARD
A memory card allows making a backup of the whole controller configuration.
ALARM MANAGEMENT
Weighing alarms are set off if a bin is empty and if any kind of problem occurs on the
distribution system.
COMPUTER CONTROL
The controller can be connected to a computer, thus making it possible to centralize
the management of information and diversify control strategies.
