2.1 Front Wheel - RST Fork Assembly
To remove the front wheel, ensure the machine is
suitably support with the wheel off the ground. Do
not us the side-stand as a lifting support as this may
lead to injury or damage to the machine.
1. Remove the 2 bolts (M6 x 18mm) securing the
brake caliper to the fork bracket and remove the
caliper.
When refitting, tighten to 10Nm and apply a
suitable thread locking agent.
2. Remove the spindle cap from the offside of the
front wheel.
Note; This cap uses a reverse thread - turn
clockwise to remove.
Remove the wheel spindly from the nearside by
turning counter-clockwise.
When refitting, tighten the Spindle between
10-15Nm and the spindle cap to 10Nm
When refitting the spindle, ensure both wheel
spacers are fitted correctly with the flared side against
the wheel hub.
Refitting is the reverse of the removal procedure
