2.1 Front Wheel - DNM Fork Assembly
To remove the front wheel, ensure the machine is
suitably support with the wheel off the ground. Do
not us the side-stand as a lifting support as this may
lead to injury or damage to the machine.
1. Remove the 2 bolts (M6 x 18mm) securing the
brake caliper to the fork bracket and remove the
caliper.
When refitting, tighten to 10Nm and apply a
suitable thread locking agent.
2. From one side of the spindle, remove the
spindle
securing bolt (M16 x 12mm)
followed by loosening
the fork pinch bolts (M5 x 15mm)
fork pinch bolts (M5 x 15mm) from both fork
legs.
When refitting, tighten the spindle to 15Nm
and the pinch bolts to 10Nm
Tip; install the spindle an tighten the pinch
bolts on the opposite leg to the spindle bolt being
used to aid tightening the spindle bolt.
When refitting the spindle, ensure both wheel
spacers are fitted correctly with the flared side against
the wheel hub.
Refitting is the reverse of the removal procedure
RST Suspension Assembly
The RST front suspension systems are sold as a complete unit and designed for longevity. As such there
are no service items available. Is failure has occurred, replace the fork assembly.
