7.2 Rear Fairings and Saddle - TL3000 Off Road

5. If replacement is required, remove the 2 screws 

securing the seat rear fairing panel to the seat unit 

and remove the panel.

7. If necessary, the seat lock can now be replaced. 

Remove the 2 bolts (M6 x 14mm) securing the unit 

to the subframe and remove.

 

When refitting, tighten to 5Nm

6. Remove the rear fairing assembly front cowling by 

releasing it from the seat lock assembly and sliding 

forwards away from the subframe.

 

Note; this is a tight fit - care should be taken   

 

not to damage the panel.

7.2 Rear Fairings and Saddle - TL45 On Road

It is recommended to remove the number plate 

bracket and under-tray before removing the rear 

assembly.

1. Remove the two 

M5 x 11mm bolts

 and two M6 

M6 

x 14mm bolts

x 14mm bolts securing the unit to the rear fairing 

assembly and remove.

 

When refitting, tighten the M5 bolts to 5Nm   

 

and the M6 bolts to 8Nm

To remove the swingarm mudguard and chain guard, 

remove the bolts (M6 x 14mm) securing them to the 

assembly and remove from the machine.

 

When refitting, tighten these bolts to 5Nm

2. Remove the 

5 bolts (M6 x 14mm)

 and 4 screws

4 screws 

securing the under-tray to the machine and remove.

 

When refitting, tighten the bolts to 7Nm and  

 

screws to 5Nm.
