To backup your contacts from the Contacts app to a
vCard file, choose Menu » Import / Export » To SD
card. Then copy the file from the SD card to your PC.
Synchronising with Google™
If you have a Google™ account, you can set up your
device to synchronize your contacts, calendar appoint-
ments and Email with Google™ contacts, Google Cal-
endar™ and Google Mail™. You can then read your
Google Mail™ messages in the Email app and use your
Google™ contacts to make phone calls.
Proceed as follows:
On the Home screen, press the Menu button and
choose Settings » Accounts & Sync » Add account.
Enter your Google™ email address and password and
tap Next.
Edit the Server Settings screen as follows:
On this screen, make sure that your email address is
prefixed by the “\”character.
