► Track : This sends the gpx track file which is
currently loaded and visible in Map View. If
necessary, you can switch to Tours View to load
a different stored track. Then tap Map to
switch back to Map View to send the track you
just loaded.
► Media : This can be a picture file, video file or
audio file:
Picture file : Either a file from the gallery or a
camera picture which has just been taken using
the takwak software. In either case, the file size
is limited to 500 kB.
Pictures which you take are automatically cap-
tured at a lower resolution. Gallery pictures are
resized to less than 500 kB before sending.
Video file : Either a file from the gallery or a
video which has just been recorded using the
takwak software. Video files can be quite large
and can take a long time to send over a mobile
data connection. Use this option with care.
Audio file : Only audio files which have just
been recorded using the takwak software.

Web page : Any of the bookmarks stored in
the browser and also the most recently visited
browser URLs.
The maximum file size for any object type is limited to
10 MB.
Except for an instant message, which is sent via the
takwak server immediately, the other objects are
stored on the takwak server and kept there for about
24 hours.
The recipient(s) get an immediate notification in the
status bar that an object has been sent and is waiting
for download. The notification includes the type of ob-
ject and the file size. The recipient(s) can then choose
to download the object from the takwak server or sim-
ply ignore the notification, as required. The objects are
deleted from the server after about 24 hours.
Downloading large files can take some time with a mo-
bile data connection. Just ignore the notification if you
want to skip the file.
Files are downloaded to the standard SD card directo-
ries, depending on the file type, and can be viewed or
played using standard Android™ apps.
