Press an already installed region to get the following 
options: View Region on Map, Uninstall Region and 
Update Region. The latter is only shown if an OSM map 
update is available on our server. In addition, “Update 

Available” is shown alongside the map name in the 
list. The maps are updated on our server regularly.

My Maps Topo

 shows you an overview of already 

purchased topographical maps. The right hand column 
shows the respective map type (TOPO = official topo-
graphic maps; KOMPASS = Kompass maps, see 

“Glos-

sary”

 on page 96).

In addition, you can see if the map region is only avail-
able to you through a mobile data connection or it has 
already been downloaded and installed on your device.

Tour Explorer Maps

 shows you an overview topo-

graphical map regions which you have exported from 
the Tour Explorer software (see 

“Exchanging data with 

Tour Explorer”

 on page 74).

Buy Topographical Maps

 to purchase new regions 

online from the MagicMaps server. For more informa-
tion see 

“Buying Topographical Maps”

 on page 70.

Directly after purchasing, the map region is available 
online but activated for your personal use. If you are 
currently using a Wi-Fi connection, it’s best to down-
load the map immediately. Map download is not pos-
sible with a mobile data connection.
