• When using wire larger than #6 (10 mm²), add a junction box near
the hot tub and reduce to short lengths of #6 (10 mm²) wire to
connect to the hot tub.
4. The electrical supply for this product must include a suitably rated
switch or circuit breaker to open all ungrounded supply conductors
to comply with Section 422-20 of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/
NFPA 70. The disconnecting means must be readily accessible and
visible to the hot tub’s occupant but installed at least 5 feet (1.5m)
from the hot tub.
5. For Australia/New Zealand, the spa should be supplied through
a residual current device (RCD) with a rated tripping current not
exceeding 30mA (IEC 60335-2-60).
6. The electrical circuit supplied for the hot tub must include a suitable
ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) as required by NEC Article 680-42.
7. An appropriate size breaker must be used depending on the model,
see chart on page 16. The electrical supply for this product must
include a suitably rated isolating switch and circuit breaker to comply
with local electrical regulations. This RDC/GFCI circuit breaker must
be installed at the power supply in the house electrical box.
8. Select the power supply entrance you want to use (Figure B, page
14) and remove the cabinet panel from the front of the hot tub,
then feed cable through the large opening provided on the bottom of
the control box.
9. To gain access to the hot tub’s power terminal block you will need to
remove the front corner and center cabinet, (Figure A, page 14).
These cabinets are located under the SunCooler™ side of the hot tub.
10. Grab one of the corner panels, from the bottom, and gently pull
the cabinet forward to unsnap it from the holding clip. Then slide it
down to remove. Place the panel is a safe location to prevent from
damaging it. Repeat the steps to remove the other corner panel.

11. Remove the center panel. Grab either the top left or top right side
of the front center panel. Gently pull the cabinet forward to unsnap
it from the holding clips. Make sure to support the cabinet as you
work your way down the side to completely unclip it from the hot
tub frame. Once completely unclipped, tilt slightly forward and lift
up to remove it from the hot tub frame.
Note:
Two people might be
required for this process. Reference Figure A, page 14.
12. Connect wires, color to color, on terminal blocks TB1 and TB3 (page
15). TIGHTEN SECURELY! All wires must be hooked up securely
or damage could result.
13. Install the control box door and reinstall the cabinet panel(s).
