Diamante User Guide

Wireless

Stenograph provides two optional wireless communication choices for realtime writing. Wireless
communication is available using a WiFi wireless connection or Bluetooth Technology.

WiFi Wireless Communication

The Stenograph optional Diamante WiFi hardware component and router kit allows realtime
communication between Case CATalyst and the Diamante when using Diamante version 1.12 or higher,
and Case CATalyst version 8.05 or higher. The ability to export Case CATalyst dictionaries to the
Diamante and the option to send TrueStroke Data via WiFi are available features when using Diamante
version 1.13 or higher and Case CATalyst version 12.50 or higher. All Diamante WiFi wireless features
require that Case CATalyst is loaded on a computer with Windows

®

Stenograph provides WiFi wireless support only when you are using the Diamante WiFi router kit. Other
WiFi routers may work but are not supported by Stenograph.

Bluetooth Wireless Communication

Bluetooth wireless communication is available for the Diamante. The Stenograph optional Diamante
Bluetooth wireless realtime kit allows wireless communication between the Diamante and Case
CATalyst or a Windows based 32-bit or 64-bit CAT system on your Windows

®

XP notebook computer. The kit includes the necessary Diamante Bluetooth adapter and the

Bluetooth software, drivers and adapter for your computer. See the

Stenograph provides Diamante wireless support when the Diamante Bluetooth Wireless Communication
