Adjusting the Tripod Height
1. Grasp the tripod tube firmly, directly beneath the Diamante with one hand.
2. Using your other hand, loosen the thumb-lock knob on the tripod. As you loosen the thumb-lock,
support the weight of the Diamante with your hand.
3. Adjust the Diamante to the desired height.
4. Tighten the thumb-lock knob.
Tilting the Diamante
The Diamante is constructed with a built-in recessed tilt mechanism. Once the Diamante is secured on
the tripod, tilt the writing machine forward or backward within 10 degrees to a position comfortable for
your writing style.
To tilt the Diamante:
1. Open the Tilting screen before adjusting the tilt position of the Diamante.
2. Position one hand on the back of the Diamante behind the Tilting screen and the other hand on the
front of the machine under the vowel keys.
3. Gently lift up or push down to the desired position. The movement of the Tilting mechanism is stiff to
ensure the position of the desired tilt is secure while writing.
Removing the Tripod
To remove the tripod, follow these steps:
1. Position the tripod firmly on the floor.
2. Locate the quick release lever on the left underside of the Diamante.
3. Push the quick release lever towards the back of the Diamante and then rotate the Diamante
counterclockwise one quarter of a turn.
4. Lift the Diamante from the tripod.
