STARPLUS STSe - Installation Manual

August 2005

System Software

The KSU includes system software U2 and U3 EPROMs. If replacement of these EPROMs is
required, ensure that you select the proper location and orientation for the new EPROMs.

Refer to

for an illustration of the proper location for the EPROMs. The processor

board has silkscreen U2 and U3 labels to identify the proper mounting points.

To properly orient the EPROMs, ensure that the indentation on the top of the EPROM matches
the silkscreen outline on the processor board that shows the indentation (indentation to the
right as you are facing the BKSU).
