Button Mapping: Superset 420 to Wireless Telephone
The following diagram and table show the mapping of the Superset 420 display set to the
wireless telephone. For example, the wireless telephone user will press LINE then 1 to
access Line Select Key 1 (in the lower right corner of the 420’s 2x6 array of line buttons).
They will press LINE then * to access Superkey functions.
Notes:
•
The wireless telephone has no speaker; the Microphone, Speaker, and Volume
Up/Down buttons on the 420 have no corresponding wireless telephone function.
•
The wireless telephone display does not support flashing characters, rolling or
scrolling text, user-definable or special characters.
•
Line select keys 1-9 have corresponding digit icons on the wireless telephone display.
These icons indicate line status (on, off, slow flash, fast flash, wink) similar to the
Superset 420 icons.
•
Line select keys 10-12 (associated with the wireless telephone’s FCN key) do not have
digit icons and should be used for functions that do not require LCD indicators.
•
The wireless telephone will not support remote diagnostic tests (eg, loopback testing).
