When an XYZ format signal is input, the color temperature
cannot be adjusted automatically even though the color
temperature data is displayed.
Target Color:
Sets the adjustment value to be used.
Standard Color Temp:
Sets the adjustment value to be
used from D93, D65, D61, D56 or D-Cine.
Any xy:
Enters the CIE color system x and y
coordinates.
x:
Enters the x coordinate.
Set to 0.280 to 0.345.
y:
Enters the y coordinate.
Set to 0.280 to 0.352.

Contrast Hold
Sets whether or not to adjust the color temperature
automatically and adjust the contrast (backlight) at the
same time.
[
On
]: The contrast is not adjusted.
Off
: The contrast is set to the value depending on the
luminance set in Target Luminance.
Picture Preset:
When Contrast Hold is set to Off,
displays the picture adjustment preset data to be used.
To change the type of the picture adjustment preset data,
select from Picture Preset 1 to Picture Preset 5 or Picture
Preset(D-Cine) in Picture Preset of the Configurations
tab window of the Main Operation window.
When Contrast is adjusted in Picture Adjustment of the
Controls tab window of the Main Operation window,
Picture Manual is displayed.

Target Luminance:
When Contrast Hold is set to Off,
enters the luminance (cd/m
2
) when the 100% white
signal is input.
Adjust the luminance by the contrast adjustment
(backlight adjustment).
Set to 40 to 250. [100]
The luminance calibrated internally by the backlight does
not guarantee an absolute value and may be different from
the luminance calibrated by the probe. When you set
Target Luminance near to the upper limit (250) or the
lower limit (40), the setting value may exceed the
adjustment range and cause an error. If an adjustment error
occurs, change Target Luminance and perform the
automatic adjustment again.

Probe
Selects the probe to be used for automatic adjustment of
the color temperature.
[CA-210]:
Select when Konica Minolta CA-210 is
used.
PM 5639/06:
Select when DK-Technologies PM
5639/06 is used.
Eye-One Pro:
Select when X-Rite Eye-One Pro is
used.
The cable to connect the probe and the monitor is required.
About the color temperature after automatic
adjustment
The values of x and y displayed by the probe may be
different from those set in Target Color because the x and
y values of the probe is calibrated by the monitor.
An external PC with USB connector and software for
adjusting the color temperature are required to use the Eye-
One Pro. Before adjusting the color temperature
automatically, start the software for adjusting the color
temperature.
For the software for adjusting the color temperature, please
contact your Sony dealer.

Start Adjustment
Click to display the window to confirm settings.
OK:
Starts adjustment.
• Since the color temperature of the backlight is calibrated
in accordance with the color temperature of Target
Color, not only the target color temperature but also
other color temperature data are adjusted by automatic
adjustment.
• When Contrast Hold is set to Off, the contrast data is also
adjusted since the luminance of the backlight is
calibrated in accordance with the luminance set in Target
Luminance.
Cancel:
Closes the window without starting adjustment.
Start Adjustment is not selectable in the following case:
• When 4:4:4 XYZ 12bit, DVI Computer or the HDMI
computer signal is selected in Format of the
Configurations tab window of the Main Operation
window
