Connecting Multiple Monitors
Up to 32 monitors can be controlled with the PC.
• The PC cannot control monitors in another subnet mask.
For how to set the subnet mask, consult your system
administrator.
• When you are using the monitors for the first time after
purchasing, the IP addresses of the monitors may
overlap between monitors. Connect the monitors to a PC
according to the procedure in “Connecting a Monitor”
(page 31) then change an IP address of each monitor
referring to “Configuring the Network” (page 34).
1
Turn off the MAIN POWER switch of the monitor.
2
Connect to the network using a 10BASE-T/100BASE-
TX cable (not supplied).
• We recommend to use an optional switching hub
with auto selection function of a straight/cross cable
(AUTO MDI/MDI-X).
• To connect multiple monitors, network
configuration of the monitors is required. Before
setting the NETWORK switches to LAN, configure
the network for the monitors (page 34).
3
Set all the NETWORK switches on input blocks A to
D of each monitor to LAN.
