4-30. Main Base Assembly

Tip

The following parts cannot be reused. Prepare the new parts.

• BU thread guard 2: 1 pc
• JS BVA heat transfer sheet: 1 pc
• JS SPDL DRV heat transfer sheet: 1 pc

Preparation

Remove the top cover assembly. (Refer to

“4-2. Top Cover Assembly”

Remove the bottom plate assembly. (Refer to

“4-3. Bottom Plate Assembly”

Remove the MC top reinforcing plate. (Refer to

“4-4. MC Top Reinforcing Plate”

Remove the RE rear assembly. (Refer to

“4-7. RE Rear Assembly”

Remove the power block. (Refer to

“4-8. Power Supply Block”

Remove the carry loader assembly. (Refer to

“4-11. Carry Loader Assembly”

Remove the CA upper assembly. (Refer to

“4-14-1. CA Upper Assembly”

Remove the CA upper BU assembly. (Refer to

“4-14-2. CA Upper BU Assembly”

Remove the CA lower BU assembly. (Refer to

“4-16. CA Lower BU Assembly”

Procedure

Remove the JS SPDL DRV heat transfer sheet and JS BVA heat transfer sheet.

Disconnect the three flexible wiring boards from the connectors (CN900, CN901 and CN903) on the DR-683
board.

Tip

When disconnecting the flexible wiring board from CN901, insert a bamboo skewer as shown in the illustration.

Remove the BU thread guard 2.

Remove the four screws (PSW 2 x 6).
