The time for replacement of
air filter has been reached.
1.
Replace the air filter.
Note
Using the air filter continuously may cause a
failure or disable data write or read. Imme-
diately replace the air filter.
2.
Reset the air filter parameter on the Utility
window or from Library maintenance WEB
UI.
Tip
For details about how to replace the air filter and
reset the air filter parameter, refer to the installation
manual supplied with the air filter (RP).

The temperature sensor of
the optical block assembly
Ch-2A detected a value equal
to or greater than the opera-
tion limit temperature. (On
side 1)
1.
Eject the cartridge.
2.
Check whether there is any obstacle that
blocks air flow from the fan exhaust outlet
and to the air vents (front/rear).
3.
Check the ambient temperature of this unit.
4.
Startup the maintenance menu and perform
FAN MOTOR.
When this operation fails, check the instal-
lation of the relevant fan and the cable con-
nection.
• Improper connection (half insertion or
oblique insertion)
• Damage to connectors
• Significant scratches or disconnection
of flexible flat cables
• Damage or contamination at connect-
ing parts (Unplug flexible flat cables.)
5.
Check the installation status of the heatsink
on the BI-353 board (ODS-D280U) /BF-92
board (ODS-D280F).
6.
Check the air filter.
• If the air filter is significantly conta-
minated, replace it.
