Blank panel (IF)

IF boards

4-3-2. CSMA-DIF (Drive interface)

1.

Open the front door. (Refer to “4-2-1. Opening the Outer Cabinets”.)

2.

Loosen fully the two screws with drop-safe of the IF boards in the T (S) slot and B (S) slot. Then,

draw the IF boards out from the T (S) slot and B (S) slot.

3.

Set all of the switches (S1100 and S1102) of the IF boards that were drawn out from the slots in step

2, to the OFF position. (Refer to “4-4. Switch Setting”.)

4.

Insert IF board pulled out to the T (S) slot and B (S) slot, and fix with two screws.

5.

Confirm that all of the switches (S1100 and S1102) of the IF boards that are going to be installed in
the T (R) slot and B (R) slot are set in the OFF position.

6.

Loosen fully the two screws with drop-safe of the blank panel from the T (R) slot and the B (R) slot
respectively, and remove the blank panels from the slots.

7.

Insert the IF board into the T (R) slot and the B (R) slot respectively, and fix them with two screws
each.
