(2) Confirm that the X belt (top) is not twisted. After confirming that, align the six gear teeth at both
ends of the X belt (top), with the X belt holder bracket and with the fixing belt (X) that were
removed in step (11) of “14. Removing the X Belt”. Then, secure the X belt (top), the X belt
holder bracket and the fixing belt (X) by tightening the six hexagonal head cap bolts (M3
x
12),
the six spring washers and the six washers.

(6) of “14. Removing the X Belt” at the same positions of the end console.
(4) Install the X belt (top) around the upper pulley of the synchro shaft. Secure the X pulley
assembly (top) using the two hexagonal head cap bolts (M4

1.5), to fix it to the end console (the console that is lastly installed).

Tighten the hexagonal head cap bolts (M4
x
14) (b) while pulling the X pulley assembly in the
direction of increasing the belt tension.
(5) Rotate the hexagonal head cap bolt (c) of the X tension assembly, that is removed in step (4) of
“14. Removing the X Belt”, fully in the direction of loosening the spring. Then install it in the
end console (the console that is attached last) by reversing the steps of removal.
