2. Removing the processor assembly

When removing the processor assembly from the

unit, be sure to perform the procedure by more

than two persons.

(1) Remove the four screws and trapezoid

washer.

(2) Remove the 11 screws and remove the rear

shield. (for UC/CE model only)

The processor assembly can not be pulled out

from the unit when the rear shield is attached.

When pulling out the processor assembly

from the unit, remove the rear shield.

(3) Holding the handle, pull out the processor

assembly to the front (5 cm).

(4) Disconnect the CN3 connector (rear) of the

processor assembly from the rear of the unit.

(5) Holding the handle on the side of the proces-

sor assembly, and remove from the unit.

Installation

3. Installing the processor assembly

(1) Push the processor assembly into the unit,

and connect the flexible card wire to the

connector CN3 (Rear) before 5 cm the

position connected completely.

Never mistake a connection of the connector.

If the connection connector is mistaken, it

becomes a system error and this machine

stops its operation.

(2) Push in the processor assembly completely.

Firmly push in the two power connectors of

the processor assembly to the connectors of

the unit.

(3) Secure the processor assembly with the four

screws and trapezoid washer.

(4) Attach the rear shield with 11 screws.

4. Installing the cables

Connect the cables removed in step 1, and install

the front cover.
