Replacement Part
3-4-1. Replacing Lamp
When the lamp does not light, replace the lamp according
to the following procedures.

Air-cool the lamp before replacing it.
The lamp is still heated immediately after turning the
power off, so there is a danger of causing burns with
touching it. When replacing the lamp, turn off the power
and wait for 5 minutes. After confirming the lamp power
indicator stops its flashing, turn off the AC power supply
which supplies the power to the FVS-1000, and wait for
about twenty minutes until the lamp is air-cooled, then
replace the lamp.

Observe the followings when installing or replacing the
lamp.
If not, the lamp can burst and may result in injury.

Do not hit the lamp against something, apply the exces-
sive pressure to it or hurt it.
. Do not give a vibration or shock to the lamp.
. Do not touch the glass ball and reflecting mirror of the
lamp with bare hands.
. Do not use the not-specified lamp.
Preparation
Turn off the AC power supply which supplies the power to
the FVS-1000.

To prevent an electric shock, be sure to turn off the power
of the AC power supply which supplies the power to the
FVS-1000 before removing.

Removal
1. Removing the gate base assembly
Remove the gate base assembly. (Refer to Section 3-2-1.)
2. Removing the lamp house assembly
(1) Loosen the four screws (with stopper).
