8. CONNECTING TO EXTERNAL DEVICES

SRX has two different USB ports.Sokkia cannot guarantee that all USB devices are compatible with
the SRX USB ports.

Each port is used for connection to different types of devices.

PROCEDURE Basic cable settings

1. Connect the cable.



Cables: "27. OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES"

2. Select "Comms" in SETTINGS mode.

Set communication conditions in the Comms
setup tab.Set "Comms mode" to "RS232C".
