7. Initial commissioning

Only add lubricant via the filler 
socket.

•  Connect the equipotential bonding 

connection of the filling pump to the 
equipotential bonding connection of the 
multiline pump unit.

•  Connect the filling hose on the filler 

socket of the multiline pump.

•  Let the filling pump run until the maxi-

mum mark (lubricant reservoir) of the 
multiline pump unit has been reached.

•  Turn off the filling pump.

•  Remove the filling hose.

•  Remove the equipotential bonding con-

nection between the filling pump and the 
multiline pump unit.

FF = G 3/8“

Only fill using clean lubricant and 
an appropriate device. 
Contaminated lubricants can result 
in severe system malfunction. The 
lubricant reservoir must be filled 
without introducing bubbles. 
To avoid possible air pockets when 
filling, SKF recommends switching 
on the multiline pump during the 
filling process. 

WARNING

Puvp needs to be run with lubri-
cont oll the tive.

  

The reservoir of the pump must be 
filled with suitable lubricant on a 
regular base.
