Ratchet 
straps

-See Figure 5 and Fig. 6

SKF recommends that the customer use a 
height-adjustable pallet truck or a forklift for 
transport to the installation location and for 
installation of the multiline pump unit.
The multiline pump unit must be secured 
against tipping using two ratchet straps. 
The lifting equipment provided by the cus-
tomer, such as forklift, pallet truck, ratchet 
straps, etc. must be designed for the total 
weight of the multiline lubrication pump + a 
20% safety margin. 
The customer must secure/assemble the 
lifting equipment in accordance with its re-
spective national laws and regulations. 
SKF Lubrication Systems Germany GmbH is 
not responsible for improperly designed, as-
sembled, or defective lifting equipment.

•  Secure the multiline pump against tip-

ping on the pallet truck using at least two 
ratchet straps. 

•  Secure the multiline pump against tip-

ping on the forklift using at least two 
ratchet straps.
