3. Assembly
3.1 General notes
The daily service tank must be positioned at
least 3,25 m to maximum 6,25 m above the
height of the intake to the system ilter.
The timed lubricator must be installed on a
level surface. It must not be under stress.
Ensure suficient clearance during installation
for later service and maintenance work.
The pipelines connected to the timed lubri-
cator must be pressure-tight and free from
stress. The pipelines should be secured so that
they are not vulnerable to vibration.
The lubrication lines to the injector nozzles
should be laid on a constantly rising gradient
in order to ensure automatic venting.
Note!
Air pockets must be carefully removed.
Air pockets interfere with the overall
functioning of the lubrication system
and may result in high subsequent
damage (increased cylinder and piston
wear).
3.2 Assembly of timed lubricator PDYS
The timed lubricator is installed using M10
screws. Because the installation location is
determined by the customer, consult the
assembly instructions from the engine manu-
facturer for the minimum screw length and
the required tightening torque.
Note!
Make sure that tightening torque is
adequate when installing the timed
lubricator.
Consult the assembly instructions
from the engine manufacturer for the
prescribed tightening torque.
Follow assembly instructions from the
engine manufacturer.
