the CLU5 pulse lubrication system.
Follow the commissioning instructions
in the engine manufacturer's operating
instructions.
Comply with the safety instructions in
the CLU5 operating instructions as well.

Ensure that the oil used is clean.
The pump unit needs to be vented in case of:
Commissioning
Extended downtime
Interrupted supply lines
Other malfunctions
(related to operating pressure, delivery
rate)

Warning!
Oil can discharge while performing the follow-
ing steps.
The current setting of the change-over
lever is irrelevant when venting the oil
supply unit.
See operating instructions,
Chapter 6.5.2
Switch on the oil supply unit.
Loosen vent plugs (
1
and
2
) by 2 to 3
revolutions.
Slowly raise the change-over lever (
3
)
(also used for pressure equalization)
until
bubble-free oil discharges from both
vent plugs.
Tighten vent plugs (
1
) and (
2
).
Lower change-over lever (
3
